Ning Qi

Ning Qi is a Postdoctoral Research Scientist in Earth and Environmental Engineering at Columbia University. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2023, and his B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from Tianjin University in 2018. Before joining Columbia, he was a research fellow at Digital Power System lab, Department of Electrical Engineering, Tsinghua University. He was a visiting scholar at Technical University of Denmark in 2022. His research interests include optimization under uncertainty, trustworthy AI and energy economics in power systems, with a particular focus on energy storage. He was the recipient of IEEE PES GM Best Paper, ESI Highly Cited & Hot Paper, and IEEE TSG Outstanding Reviewer.
